Eighteen North Texas nonprofits received an early holiday gift through a Season of Giving grant from Park Place Dealerships. The dealership group awarded $100,000 to the nonprofits that serve the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.

The San Antonio Auto Dealers Association’s Dealers Aligned program presented a $75,070 donation to the San Antonio Food Bank on Nov. 17, 2023, during their annual auto and truck show.

A dedication/ribbon cutting was held at the new Gullo Hall on the Lubbock Christian University campus on Nov. 18, 2023. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Gullo family, the beautiful new dorm is a wonderful addition to the LCU campus.

New franchised auto dealerships donate half a billion dollars to charities each year. Yes, that includes sponsoring the local Little League teams, but it also means building wings of hospitals and schools, hosting fundraisers for nonprofits and donating millions of dollars to causes that range from cancer research to fighting homelessness.

Georgetown Infiniti held their grand opening on Dec. 14, 2023, in Georgetown, TX. From the ribbon cutting to the engaging conversation, the event was a night worth celebrating.

5,000 people attended the Grand Opening of Houston Freightliner Western Star, where The Marshall Tucker Band was the headliner. At over 300,000 square feet on 68 acres, Houston Freightliner Western Star will be the largest heavy-duty truck sales and service facility in the world.

The Texas labor market reached historic highs in 2023, breaking records in employment growth and the civilian labor force. In December, the state’s seasonally adjusted job count reached 14,103,300 jobs, an increase of 19,100 over the month — marking 27 consecutive months of new series employment highs.

The 4th Annual Auto Tech Competition was held Dec. 1-2, 2023, at Texas Motor Speedway. Forty-four teams from across North and East Texas came ready to compete for a chance at Fast Track Auto Tech Training Program scholarships and professional industry tools in order to continue their career path journey.

The ASE Education Foundation announced the officers for its 2024 board of directors as well as new board members.
