26 TADA Dealer Academy Does The Domain N ow in its fourth year under the leadership of TDA Trustee Tim Crenwelge and Chairman T. Harper, the Texas Dealer Academy met at the Westin Hotel in Austin’s Domain in November for another productive session of networking and study. Tim Crenwelge delivered a great training day with sessions on DMS and successorship, including a presentation by TADA’s endorsed partner, Dealertrack. TDA member Jacob Boggus with the Boggus family dealerships in Harlingen and McAllen gave a stirring presentation on successorship and his experience as a fourth generation member of an iconic Texas dealer family. Dinner and networking at Topgolf, sponsored by Mike Marks and the Austin Automobile Dealers Association, kicked off the first night of the Austin meeting and the young dealers were hard at work by 8:00 am the next morning with Trustee Crenwelge setting the stage for another intense session of interactive learning. The Dealer Academy members recon- firm with each successive meeting that the Texas Automobile industry is in capable hands for generations to come. 
