17 SPRING 2016 Most recently Amy and the dealership team headed up the Ford Drive 4 UR School event benefitting Boerne High School Project Graduation to help the seniors raise $6,000 for their graduation activities. In addition, the dealership sponsors the Boerne ISD Teacher of the Year luncheon. Amy, along with her volunteer work with the public schools is also materially involved with the annual “Fill the Ford with Food” drive in November and December to support local deserving fami- lies. In this program, Jennings Anderson Ford partnered with Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries and Hill Country Family Services to donate food and diapers to local families in need. This year Jennings Anderson Ford exceeded their goals and received so many donations that they were able to fill FOUR Ford Trucks. Jennings Anderson Ford received 10 times the amount of dona- tions than they did last year! They received 5,185 pounds in food donations and 200 pounds in diaper donations, which is a major necessity for some of these families. Jennings Anderson Ford collected in their store and reached out to community businesses for their support as well. Employees at Jennings Anderson Ford also were able to get cash donations from patrons in the com- munity to help buy the diapers to donate to these needy families. Amy Wilson Berg as well as her father, Scott, and the em- ployees of Jennings Anderson Ford represent everything that is good about franchised new car and truck dealers throughout the state in 284 Texas cities and towns, being personably involved in the community and supporting its citizens and institutions. Amy and her husband Josh now have a 1 ½ year old son, Wilson Weatherly Berg, to assure Boerne, Texas that they have a fourth generation of this model dealer family to continue to serve their town and the hill country of Texas.  By Karen Phillips
