9 SPRING 2019 Brent Franks Named DFWNCDA President T he Dallas Fort Worth Metro- politan New Car Dealers As- sociation (DFW NCDA) and Chairman Jim Hardick are pleased to announce that C. Brent Franks has been named the new President of the DFW NCDA. Franks will take over the helm of the Association on March 18. Franks was formerly with CBS Television Stations and CBS Radio for 25 years. “We are thrilled that Brent accepted our offer,” said Hardick. “Brent has been a successful manager and sales professional and has developed strong business and personal relationships in Nor th Texas, many of which are with car dealers. He brings a wealth of marketing, leadership and management experience to the table. We are confident that Brent will be a valued asset to our Association for years to come.” Franks will join Imperium Public Affairs, David Garcia, Inc. and James Mathis, Inc. in the DFW NCDA’s lobbying effort in Austin. In addition, he will lead a staff of three in producing the DFWAuto Show (Dallas) and the DFW Auto Show Fort Worth. “I am excited to join this remarkable organization representing the stellar local auto dealers who provide tens of thousands of jobs to North Texas.
