18 Nyle and Nancy Maxwell Honor Texas Military Heroes T exas franchised dealers work hard to build a business and establish themselves in their community while, at the same time, supporting their fellow man to a degree unrivaled by any other family-based organization in the country. A dealer family who reflects that commitment to Texas and their communities are theMaxwell’s ofWilliamson County. In addition to their leadership in the world of transportation, Nancy and Nyle Maxwell are two of the most dedicated community servants in our state. Their generosity and commitment to such organizations and causes as the Dell Children’s Medical Center Foundation, Texas Child Study Center, Texas Wildlife Association, Seton Williamson Foundation, Round Rock Sertoma, Williamson Country Children’s Advocacy Center, Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter and the YMCA of Williamson County, helps thousands of their fellow Texans, especially the children served by these organizations. The Nyle Maxwell Family of Dealerships supports two signature campaigns each year – the Spirit of Caring, benefitting Dell Children’s Hospital, and the annual Christmas Dreams and Snowy Things for the services of the Williamson County YMCA. One other important project that theMaxwell’s support is the Honor Flight from Austin to Washington D.C. that recognizes the patriotism and service of military veterans, particularly those who served inWorldWar II and Korea. Nyle Maxwell’s late father was a decorated United States Marine and Nyle has revered military veterans his entire life. Sponsoring Honor Flights has given Nyle and his family the opportunity to demonstrate the respect that these military veterans deserve for giving us the freedom that we enjoy every day and for which we can never take for granted. An Honor Flight is an expensive undertaking which is completely free to the veterans being honored and includes round-trip airfare, a hotel stay inWashington D.C., a dinner in the nation’s capital and all other expenses for a plane full of veterans and their escorts.
