He knows more about every dealer, their family, and the history of their dealerships than anyone I have ever known. The facts and figures he can recite from memory pertaining to our industry, the con- tributions dealers provide to our state and communities, and numerous other figures is astonishing. Bill’s loyalty and commitment to TADA has been second to none. I know all members of TADA and its staff will greatly miss our dear friend, Bill Wolters. You are a dear friend to us all. We are thankful for the years of service and leadership you have given, and we wish you the best in happiness and health in your well-deserved retire- ment. Rick Cavender, Audi Dominion As everyone knows, Bill knows everybody and has a story about everyone. As I had the opportunity to travel around the nation with Bill, I was constantly amazed at the number of people he knew. I thought he only knew Texans, but he knows everyone. He knew my Dad (they worked at Ford together), he knew my ex-partner Ken Nichols, and he knows my son, Stephen. How does he know so many people? You want to say it’s a small world, but it’s not. When I was considering representing North Texas for NADA, I called Bill as I have many times in the past to ask his opinion. He is the ultimate counselor, always encouraging and motivating each of us to excellence. He always has time for each of us. He always makes us feel special. Bill Wolters is truly one of a kind.
