The Women’s Network of the Houston Automobile Dealers Association (HADA) recently welcomed over 60 automotive professionals from across the region to the Julia Ideson Building in downtown Houston for its 2026 Spring Networking Event.
Sponsored by the Ken Garff Automotive Group’s Houston dealerships, the event featured collaborative roundtable discussions centered on professional development, workplace mentorship and the evolving role of women in automotive retail. Participants shared perspectives on building leadership confidence, creating stronger support systems within dealerships and identifying opportunities for continued growth within the industry.
Attendees represented a variety of dealership departments, including operations, marketing, accounting, finance and fixed operations, as well as associate member companies across a wide range of businesses, highlighting the diverse career opportunities available throughout automotive retail.
“This event reinforced the importance of creating spaces where professionals can openly exchange ideas, build relationships and strengthen connections within the dealer community,” said HADA Executive Vice President RoShelle Salinas. “It was exciting to see the engagement and conversations we had demonstrated the strength, talent and leadership already present within our industry.”
HADA plans to continue expanding professional development and networking opportunities for dealership employees throughout the year. If you’d like to host an event or get involved, email info@houstoncardealers.com.
